Why can't I submit a Feature Request or vote for existing requests?

You must be logged in to submit and vote for Feature Requests. Please click here to register if you do not have an account already. Or click on the following links if you have forgotten your Username/Password.

What happens to your Feature Request?

What happens to your Feature Request?

Your request is firstly sent for publishing approval and, once published, is set accordingly to the "Pending" status. Users can now view and vote on your request; allowing us to understand user demand, gather use cases and establish the value and impact the request may have on the product in question.

Each month, requests are reviewed and discussed with our Product Planning Department at Olympus Tokyo. To determine the highest priorities for our customers, team members, dealers, integrators and consider how your requests will align with our strategy.

As the Product Planning department reviews the feedback, the status of each request is changed accordingly.

If Olympus decides to add a new feature or make an improvement based on your request; the status will be changed to "Accepted" and added to our internal product road map. Anyone who has submitted or voted on a request, will be notified and be provided with an explanation of the update.

If you contact the Olympus Professional Dictation Support Team; they'll be able to look up the requests for you, but they won't have any additional information (other than what is public) or provide an estimate for when your request will be reviewed.

How long does it take for the Product Planning Department to consider my feature?

Requests are reviewed by the department on a monthly basis; they take the top requests and update the status where appropriate. Ensure your ideas are clear and concise so other users can vote and prioritise the request accordingly.

  • Ensure your request is clear: Why do you need this? What is it stopping you from doing? What is the impact? Please add these details in a comment to your submission.

  • Please be patient as many requests go through to the product planning department, from all over the world, and it does take time for the department to go through them all.

  • If you have any questions regarding your request or you have not received any updates regarding it, please don't hesitate to contact the support team.
